How do I add a new filter to a page or category?

You may want to add an extra filter to a certain page. But how do you do this?

First, you need to know which filter template is linked to the category or page.

There are two options to add new filters.

Is the template used only for that category, or do you want to add the filter to all categories that use the filter template?
Then you need to edit the used filter template.

Navigate to Filtering > Filter templates submodule. Open the filter template and add the desired property. You can add one single filter, or add multiple filters at the same time:

Click Save & exit. The filter has now been added to the filter template. You may want to make some changes to the filter. Read which options you have here.

You can put the filter in the right place by dragging it.

Do you only want to add this filter to this category, and is the filter template used on other categories as well? Then you will need to create a new template and link it to the right category.
