Bugfixes

  • For Guided Selling implementations via JavaScript, we’ve added functionality that once you answer one or more questions and you browse back to a previous question, it will remember your previous answers.
  • It sometimes took a long time to retrieve data from our caching servers, which was solved by adding a more appropriate timeout mechanism.
  • The Tweakwise App now allows you to filter by categories in the tab value distribution on the feed properties module. This function was broken and resulted in an infinite loading screen.
  • We have added a new feature to our JavaScript implementation, which enables you to assign the facets and filters to the top of the lister instead of the default left sidebar. With the right configuration, you can still show your category tree in a sidebar, as this seems to be the default behavior in e-commerce nowadays.
  • An annoying bug was fixed which resulted in the wrong calculation of the half-life factor for personalization. Everything works fine again according to design.
  • We had two separate modules for synonyms in Tweakwise App. We phased out the old module and migrated all customers two the newer version of synonyms. It's now the default one and available by the name ‘Synonyms’. We have realized some extra validation and neat error messages in this module as well.
  • In case you request our Backend API with the wrong instance key, we show a neat error message.
  • Customers that were using Fuzzy V1 were migrated to Fuzzy Search, the newer version.
  • We have added some extra validation in our task modules, so it will become more clear if something went wrong. In addition, it is no longer possible to activate email notifications without providing a valid email address.
  • It is no longer possible to do a manual suggestions import that contains empty values on some rows, without getting an explanatory error message.
  • While working in the redirects module in Tweakwise App, pagination broke after deleting a certain redirect. That problem is solved, so deleting multiple redirects should become less annoying to do.
  • On HDPI screens there were missing icons which made the Tweakwise App less user-friendly, which is now solved.
  • Apparently, Search Banners did not work as expected in our JavaScript implementations, but now they do again according to the settings you configure in Tweakwise App.
  • Guided Selling for JavaScript is expanded with CSS classes on most HTML components, so it will become more flexible to apply your own brand and styling.
  • Search phrases with an ampersand (&) were cut off in our JavaScript implementation, which was fixed.
  • We fixed a bug where our JavaScript implementation would not listen to hash changes from the outside.
  • We’ve added the functionality for an alternate sorting order in our JavaScript implementation. The sorting of values when a filter is expanded now will listen to the settings you configure in Tweakwise App.
  • Validation of the external property import feed jobs now will be done after transformation has taken place instead of beforehand.
  • You may have experienced duplicate search banners if you activated them for multiple search terms. Now we only show a single search banner once at a time.
  • When creating a new derived attribute of the type ‘replace’, it is no longer possible to select the category attribute as it should never have been selectable at all.
  • We made significant changes to the filler mutations module and related parts. In some cases, mutations could get duplicated and removed while saving. After saving a blank page was shown. In case of a validation error, you now can pick up where you left off instead of starting all over again. The filler mutations now validate words against the corresponding language, instead of Dutch all the time. And finally, the filler mutation module now is case-sensitive which will lead to less unexpected results.

Magento extensions

  • All our Magento modules now support PHP 8.1 and have Magento 2.4.4 compatibility
  • We’ve added a configurable setting to show the parent category in autocomplete results.
  • In case you use our new Suggestions API via a configurable setting in Magento, it is no longer possible to set up the old Autocomplete, as it was leading to duplicate results.
  • Our export scripts now by default have the date created and date updated fields available, so you can use them in Tweakwise App.
  • The date created and the date updated are both added to the overview tables in the ALP module, so you can sort the tables based on that information.
  • Personal Merchandising kept loading for the Hyve theme, which now is solved. In addition, the price slider option contains the correct minimum and maximum values for the Hyva theme again.

Shopware 6

  • The full sync in our Shopware 6 extension did not work completely as expected, which is now solved.
  • We’ve improved our integration with Shopware 6 by synchronizing all pricing information from products to Tweakwise as product attributes.
  • From now on, we save all original product images and thumbnails configured in the Media module of Shopware 6. Like all pricing information, you can find them in Tweakwise App as product attributes.
  • Product reviews are now exported to Tweakwise App. We have added the average product rating and the total number of reviews as well.
  • We had an issue with the product manufacturer attribute missing for configurable products. We now import this attribute both for simple and configurables.
  • Products from now on have the attributes SeoPathInfo and PathInfo, which could be used to set up the right product URLs in Tweakwise App.
