In some situations, it can be convenient to use the product's category as a property. We call this a direct category. You can add this property to the search properties so that products may be found when visitors search for a category. A direct category can also be used as an extra filter. This often happens to the template that is used for a search query. In such cases, it's practical to have the categories of all found products stacked in one place. That's where the derived property Advanced comes in.
