If you have a long list of synonyms, it may be convenient to import them all at once. You can do this by using the Synonyms module to first run an export of the current synonym list and complete it or use the empty example template.
The file you supply must meet the following requirements:
- The file must have a .CSV extension
- The file contains the same columns as in the example below, with multiple words separated by a | (vertical bar).

Not all of these columns need to be filled. The ID column can be left blank if it is a new synonym. If you modify an existing one, it is best to export it from the Synonyms module via the Search -> Synonyms so the ID is filled in already.
For a one-way synonym, enter the original under sourceterm, and the synonyms under synonyms. For two-way synonyms, enter all synonyms under synonyms and leave sourceterm blank.
If you can't figure it out, contact the Support Department and provide the desired synonyms.
