​You can add a new product number like SKU or EAN to your search properties and the search algorithm. We always advise adding product numbers to the search algorithm, because an exact match on those is essential. Follow these steps to add a new product number to your search algorithm:

1. Navigate to Search > Search algorithm

2. Expand the New algorithm dropdown and choose Extended number recognition

3. Click Add

4. A new algorithm will appear at the bottom of the search algorithm chain: Extended number recognition. Expand the Select a filter dropdown and select the new property that you want to have searched.

5. Drag the Extended number recognition upwards and place it above the first Word search.

6. Click Save

​You've now added the new product number to your search algorithm! The algorithm will work after a publishing task.
