Adding Smart sorting may make it unclear why a certain filter is on a certain position. The position of filters is determined as such:

• Filters without Smart sorting are on the position that was set in the filter template.
• Filters with Smart sorting are sorted based on the Smart Index for each category.
• Newly added filters don't have a Smart Index yet and are on the position that was set in the filter template. This way, new filters won't drop to the bottom immediately. The filter will be given a Smart Index when enough data has been generated.

The demo shop contains data on the Smart Index of filters and values. Filters with Smart sorting contain a red icon. Hoover over the icon or the filter name to see the Smart Index. Filter values with Smart sorting can be recognized by the red dot. Again, hoover over the dot or the text to see the Smart Index. Filters without Smart sorting or those lacking data to get a Smart Index will be on the pre-determined position in the filter template and won't have an icon.

Note: The Smart Index may be 0.00. The Smart Index is rounded off on 2 decimals. There is data, but the Smart Index is simply too low to show.
