Within the category Search, there is the module Banners. This module lets you set up search banners. A search banner is an advert that is displayed on a search results page. This advert consists of a clickable image that leads to a new page. It's possible for the Tweakwise banners to be shown during a certain period. based on certain search queries or on all search queries. You can also change the position, the image URL, the click URL, and the click type (_self or _blank). We make the distinction between desktop and mobile.

Besides the positions above, it's possible to choose your own (fixed) position for the search banners, for example, on a fixed position between products. In this case, you may ignore the location parameter in the response.

Response

If a search banner was set up and activated for this period, the navigation-search response will contain a new component called searchbanners. This component contains the banners that were activated for the search query.
