The demo shop is an environment that shows only functions from Tweakwise. You won't see a shopping cart, banners or landing pages. You can use the demo shop to check whether search, filtering, sorting and recommendations are set up correctly.

Changes in, for example, filtering are only visible in the demo shop after running a publish task. Many shops use caching, which means that a change becomes active in the actual shop at a later time. After a publication, changes are always visible in the demo shop directly.

 

If you're experiencing an issue in your shop, you can check the demo shop to determine whether the cause lies with the Tweakwise app, or if something is wrong with the rest of your shop. For example, if you don't see product suggestions, you could check if that's Tweakwise's fault. Open the demo shop and type in the exact thing you typed in on your regular shop. If you don't see any suggestions in the demo shop, the cause lies within Tweakwise. If you do see suggestions in your demo shop, you should contact your implementation partner.

You can open the demo shop on every category level. But not: when you search, you always search a main category/store view. If you want to check the search function, always open the demo shop on the main category level.
